About

Lorena Street Elementary was built in 1913 and is a Dual Language ETK-5th grade school located in Boyle Heights, California. 

Our school takes pride in being part of the “GO East LA: A Pathway for College and Career Success” program, developed to foster long-term educational and career success for Boyle Heights and East L.A. students. We envision our school as a learning institution that promotes and encourages college awareness to our students to pursue higher-level education.  We have partnerships with Cal State University Los Angeles, AVIVA Services, Los Angeles Police Department, CONGA Kids, Little Kids ROCK, and Councilmen Huizar's Office.  We look forward to you joining us in the venture.
